The Russo Brothers drop trailer for their new action flick ‘Cherry’
If you aren’t sure who the Russo Brothers are they are the guys who brought you some of the most epic movies in Marvel Cinematic Universe, such Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War and Captain America: Civil War to name a few.
The brothers also wrote ‘Extraction’ that landed on Netflix last year which garnered some rave reviews. This time the brothers are pulling another winner out the bag with their latest offering, Cherry. Ok, so I can’t be sure it’s a winner until I’ve seen the film but if the trailer is anything to go by I’ll say it stands a good chance. The film stars Tom Holland as an army medic with PTSD who becomes addicted to opioids and starts robbing banks to pay for this addiction. Check out the trailer:
Yeah that looks pretty full on. At the moment it looks like it’s only going to be available to watch on Apple TV which I know isn’t overly popular just yet but if this is the sort of entertainment we’re to expect then it might be worth subscribing. After all, what’s one more steaming subscription?! There is also talk of the movie coming out in cinemas in February 26th but it looks unlikely seeing as we’ll probably still be in lockdown by then. I guess it’s Apple TV then.
