The Marvel Cinematic Universe get the Honest Trailer treatment
It’s been a while since I posted an Honest Trailer but seeing at everyone’s got a huge wide-on for anything related to Marvel, I simply had to article their latest offering.
The MCU Honest trailer marks the 300th Honest Trailer for Screen Junkies and it rips the piss out of the the fact that all of the MCU characters and plots are pretty much exactly the same. Despite this, the movie franchise is still one of the most well-loved franchises in history.
The trailer starts off by giving us a history lesson about the characters and how Marvel originally sold the rights to their most popular characters to several Hollywood studios, leaving them with characters like Iron Man and Thor who used to be their B-listers. However, Kevin Feige, who’s now president of Marvel Studios, managed to turn those B-listers into a cinematic universe that was worth $4 billion to Disney. Wowzers! I still can’t believe the MCU’s 22 movies have raked in a whopping $21.4 billion at box office. That’s freaking insane! I’ve only got eyes for one character though - Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Especially with he’s in drag and lip syncing to Rihanna.
