Dude developed a lung infection after sniffing his filthy socks
We all love taking a quick whiff of our own farts but huffing on your stinky socks after a days work is a stretch, even for me. However, some people are just fucking disgusting, like this guy from Zhangzhou, China, who had to be hospitalised after he developed a lung infection from sniffing his sweaty socks.
The man had a severe fungal infection that had developed in his shoes from his sweaty feet and spread into his lungs when he breathed in the spores. Apparently be would come home from work and as he was getting changed, would take in huge inhalations of the socks that he'd been wearing all day. He later developed an infection caused by a fungus from his sweaty feet which then spread to his lungs. Grim.
The guy hasn’t been named which I’m assuming is because he’s too mortified to show his face but reports say he’s recovering well. Let that be a lesson to all of your dirty sock sniffers out there.
