Bill Cosby found guilty of sexual assault
This whole Bill Cosby thing has been going on for so long I didn't even realise he hadn't been sentenced yet. Clearly I'm not into the whole 'inncocent until proven guilty' kind of thing because I assumed that dude was guilty as soon as that shit hit the papers. I seriously need to be more careful with that! But now it's actually official - Bill Cosby is guilty of sexual assault!
A jury of seven men and five women took just one day to deliver their verdict and he now faces up to 10 years in prison. The 80-year-old was found guilty of sexually assaulting a former women's basketball administrator at his mansion 14 years ago.
As it currently stands, more than 60 women have accused Cosby of sexual assault with the allegations dating as far back as 1965 and being as recent as 2014. Yikes. Judge Steven T. O’Neill is expected to issue a sentence within 60 to 90 days.
