'Game of Thrones' season 8 will film multiple endings to prevent leaks
As you all know, Game of Thrones was plagued by hackers at the end of season 7, with episodes being leaked far too early and HBO are keen to not let that shit happen again.
HBO have now come up with a genius way to keep the season 8's details under wraps and that is to film multiple endings for the show so that no one will have a clue as to what the real ending is. President of programming Casey Bloys told journalists recently that HBO is going to attempt some misdirection with the series finale.
I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.
It's a pretty bloody good idea. I'd be livid if someone ruined the ending for me before I had a chance to watch it so at least now we'll be able to watch and enjoy it together.
