Apple warns MacBook users NOT to cover your laptop camera
Apple have just released a statement urging people not to cover their Macbook camera because apparently it can damage your laptop.
According to Apple, placing sticky notes over the camera of you laptop obstructs the carefully designed closing point, meaning that the screen could shatter when you close it. The advice was issued for anyone with MacBook, a MacBook Air, or a MacBook Pro. Here’s the statement from Apple's official website:
Quote:If you close your Mac notebook with a camera cover installed, you might damage your display because the clearance between the display and keyboard is designed to very tight tolerances.
Apple also said that you simply need to look at the green light next to the camera if you want to know when it's active or not. Pah, yeah ok. Apple needs to change their statement to “Apple Confirms They Really Want To Keep Spying On You”! Plebs! Let's just remind ourselves that Zuckerberg covers his camera AND his mic so interpret that as will.
