The murky world of heroin addiction
Heroin, as we all know, is pretty filthy drug. It's certainly not one to be fucked around with. It destroys lives and tears families apart. Unlike marijuana and the odd line coke, that can be considered recreational, there is absolutely nothing recreational about heroin.

Photographer Jessica Dimmock, wanted to highlight the agonising and destructive life of a heroin addict, so she created this collection of bleak photos. Jessica's depressing project called The Ninth Floor takes you deep into the gutter of humanity. The ninth floor is situated in a nice apartment block overlooking Fifth Avenue in NYC which is actually in a really good part of town. The ninth floor’s interior, however, is anything but nice. It's become a den for society's drug addicts and self abusers. Jessica's photos show just how low these people have sunk. It's both sad and horrifying.
