Brutal Russian 'Hunger Games' style reality show welcomes it's first two contestants
You may remember reading something a while back about the brutal new reality TV show in Russia that has been dubbed the 'real life Hunger Games'. I personally think it's more like The Condemned but not many people seem to know that movie, so lets just go with the most popular.
Anyhoo, the show, titled Game2Winter, will see 30 participants left in the Siberian wilderness for nine months to battle wildlife and extreme weather conditions where temperatures drop to as low as -50 degrees. In case you're wondering why the hell anyone would put themselves through this it might have something to do with the £1.3million prize money. The rules, or lack thereof is where things really start to get dark; the rules state that anything goes including fighting, murder and rape. Only in Russia.
You may think that nobody in their right mind would put themselves up for this but unbelievably, the show already has a couple of contestants lined up and they're actually pretty hot. The first applicant is 28-year-old Oksana Shiganova from the Russian Arctic. Here’s what Oksana had to say:
I am a professional blonde, a girl who loves dresses, manicures and shopping.
I love myself and will definitely not make it through the show without help. But this is what will make it so interesting to follow me.
Hmm, I don't see her lasting too long in the wilderness. The second applicant is Irina Agisheva who said she was ready to test herself in the show:
I want to do something so mad and unforgettable so that people later say ‘do you remember that girl…’
We only live once and we must make the best of our lives.
Yeah, these bitches are crazy. Just wait until some dirty Russian bastards go in wanting to rape and pillage, then they won't be banging on about 'only living once'. Contestants who take part will only have one set of clothes and a knife. They will only receive basic wildlife training and will need to hunt in order to eat. Survivors who last the whole nine months will split the prize money so people will definitely be trying to get rid of the competition. After all, who wants to share £1.3million with a bunch of randoms?!
If you're wondering who the whackjob is behind this barbaric show, it's none other than millionaire and inventor Yevgeny Pyatkovsky. I bet he gets a right lob on when he watches Hostel. He seems the type. He has stated that, although contestants will be subject to Russian law, security would not intervene if there was, “physical violence, rape, or murder”. Utter madness!
If you’re interested in watching the show, it will be broadcast in July and will be on air for 24 hours a day. It's literally EXACTLY like the movie The Condemned, and I kind of want to watch it.
