The upcoming movie from M. Night Shyamalan looks like it could be one of the directors best films yet. If his last movie The Visit is anything to go by then I've got high hopes for Split, which is due for release next year.
Split starts off like your average kidnapping thriller with James McAvoy abducting three young girls and taking them to a dark basement. But the kidnapping is just the beginning of the creepiness as they learn that this man has some serious mental problems that make their imprisonment that much more horrifying.
The girls soon realise that Kevin (McAvoy) has multiple personality disorder which makes him have 23 different personalities - including one frightening character "The Beast" that begins to materialise.
