Some might argue that after a disastrous 2015 season, the team's time would be better spent on an actual functioning present-day car.
It's done now though, so we'd just as well enjoy it. Get ready for a future filled with closed cockpits, MORE HYBRID and, if this video is anything to go by, a McLaren that actually works!
