PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING TIPS: 20-22 December

SATURDAY

Man City v Crystal Palace 12:45
City obviously (3/10 outright) but I can't see Palace getting embarrassed. Under 2.5 goals at 6/5 might be worth a go. With Aguero injured it's much of a muchness in the scorers, though 5/1 on Lampard getting the first is tempting.
Prediction: 2-0 (11/2)

Aston Villa v Man Utd
That defeat at West Brom last weekend aside, Villa have been going fairly well of late. Not as well as United though unfortunately, and 8/13 for the away win is probably about right. Handicaps might be pushing it, but with van Persie 6/5 and Rooney 11/8 in the anytimes we're not short of options. Both are in great form so it might be worth backing the pair.
Prediction: 1-2 (15/2)

Hull v Swansea
So Hull are pretty terrible at the moment. But they are at home, and Swansea have lost their last two... 2/1 outright seems fairly generous. Draw for me though, and at 9/4 a similar price. Got to be Bony in the scorers, 11/8 any time.
Prediction: 1-1 (5/1)

QPR v West Brom
It's just as well QPR tend to beat the teams around them at Loftus Road, because they aren't getting any joy on the road. Another home win (good value at 11/8) and Austin to score first at 9/2. Easy.
Prediction: 1-0 (13/2)

Southampton v Everton
Five defeats in a row now for the Saints, and an ever-increasing injury/suspension list. Everton are a bit hit and miss though, would you confidently back them to come away with three points? Draw (12/5), possibly goalless.
Prediction: 0-0 (9/1)

Tottenham v Burnley
Spurs seem to be finding a bit of form and will probably win this. No-one's actually going to put money on it though are they? Especially not at 1/2. Take the 4/1 on Harry Kane scoring first and run.
Prediction: 2-1 (15/2)

West Ham v Leicester
Can't help but feel 4/6 on the home win isn't quite as good as it looks. They're worlds apart in the form table of course but it seems to be just the sort of game Leicester might nick a point from. Call it a hunch, 11/4.
Prediction: 1-1 (13/2)

SUNDAY

Newcastle v Sunderland 13:30
Looks like Newcastle are gonna be starting with a 17-year-old kid in goal. Plenty of long range efforts then. Sunderland's recent record against their local rivals is pretty good too, but, don't look much good at the moment do they? Home win's 20/21 and on current form, pretty generous. Go Cisse in the scorers, 6/5 any time.
Prediction: 2-0 (9/1)

Liverpool v Arsenal 16:00
One comedy defence, another makeshift one, and two sides more than capable of plunging themselves in to yet fresher, deeper levels of CRISIS! No idea. Draw (12/5)? 5.5+ goals (9/1)? Obviously Sanchez in the scorers though, and he's 7/1 to get 2 or more.
Prediction: 3-3 (40/1)

MONDAY

Stoke v Chelsea 20:00
Probably Chelsea (8/13) but they're not emphatic at the best of times. They've stuttered a bit lately, and Stoke is of course A Difficult Place To Get A Result. Have a little think about the draw (14/5), but not too much. Diego Costa's 3/1 to score first. Done.
Prediction: 1-2 (15/2)
