In happier times at Real Madrid
The legendary centre half, these days a manager with Guangzhou Evergrande in China, is currently under investigation for tax evasion, with his house sealed off as part of the inquiry. But after being caught using the pool (a man's gotta swim, right?) custodial sentences were handed to both him and his wife. His brother Paolo, who plays for Serie A side Sassuolo, has also been sent down but it's unclear whether or not that's pool-related.
All three have appealed so will have their sentences suspended until a final judgment is made.
