Looks quite a lot like the current one.
Sterling's delighted.
Over 1,000 fans showed up at Anfield for the launch this afternoon. A Friday afternoon...
Probably a gag in there somewhere.
And to finish up, some vacuous marketing bollocks. Here's Jordan Henderson: “Our fans create a great atmosphere at Anfield, and it is great to have a kit that reflects the red and white mosaic made when the fans on the Kop hold their flags and scarves aloft.
“The kit feels great and I’m pleased the New Balance team considered what the players need from a kit when it was designed. The material is very comfortable and the players are delighted with the result.”
And Billy Hogan, Liverpool’s chief commercial officer: “We are very excited to be launching our first kit in partnership with New Balance, which is one of the world’s leading sportswear brands.
“Like LFC, New Balance has over 100 years of heritage and it’s fitting that the first kit launched as part of this record-breaking partnership celebrates the club’s illustrious history and worldwide fanbase.”
Not actually a new partnership of course, what with New Balance being owned by the Reds' current supplier Warrior and everything. Sounds good though.
