City and United supporters have been getting behind Mario Balotelli, whilst the Southampton faithful have started a campaign for Dejan Lovren, the Croatian defender who left St Mary's in controversial circumstances last summer, to take the award.
Neither player has set the world alight (to put it mildly) since moving to Anfield, which is of course what makes it so bloody hilarious.
