Wheatabix try and push beans on Wheatabix & the nation is furious!
It’s pretty easy to get on board with baked beans. I mean come on, those little pebbles of goodness go with pretty much anything. Had a shit day? Have some beans on buttery toast? Broken up with your partner? Have some sausage, chips and beans. You can even have beans with potato waffles or chicken nuggets if you’re feeling adventurous. The possibilities are endless. But do you know what they don’t go with?!! Wheetabix!
Of all the things that pair well with beans, Wheetabix ain’t one of them. However that didn’t stop the company from tweeting out their latest breakfast suggestion:

Erm. WHAT?!? I think not! Unsurprisingly, the Twitter reactions were pretty scathing at the mere suggestion on Wheetabix and beans:
I would highly recommend you sack your marketing team at once and then spend a little more time on the recruitment process than you did previously. I love both products, but this looks fucking disgusting.
