People think Carole Baskin was working as a hooker when she met Don Lewis
After Netflix’s Tiger King opened up a gigantic can of worms and left us all in total shock, there was no way we were just going to move on and not delve further, especially when it comes to that sociopath, Carole Baskin.
With us all being on lockdown with absolutely nothing else to do apart of talk about what happened in our favourite TV shows, viewers made the assumption that Carole Baskin was working as a prostitute when she met her first husband, Don Lewis.
We all know how their relationship met it’s demise - that Carole killed Don and fed him to the tigers. However, people don’t quite believe how their relationship started. In ‘Tiger King’, Carole said that she was walking down Nebraska Avenue after an argument with her first husband when Don Lewis drove by and pursued her until she got in the car with him. That then led to Carole spending the night with Don and him leaving his wife and kids for her. People have since jumped on Twitter with claims that Nebraska Avenue is a notorious hooker hotspot and that Carole must’ve been working as a prostitute when she first met Don. I did wonder why Carole would be strolling about at night after an argument. I mean who does that?! Surely you would just get in your car and go to your mates house or even a local cafe right? It would certainly make sense that a young Carole was trying to turn tricks when an older Don Lewis drove up and kept trying to get her in the car. It’s all a bit sketchy. Whether we’ll actually find out for sure though is another matter. Hopefully one of Carole old John’s can come forward and clarify this for us.
