Hapless smuggler caught with £27,000 worth of cocaine hidden under dodgy wig
I thought drug smugglers were meant to be creative when it comes to hiding their gear but it appears that not all smugglers are smart fellows, like this dude, who thought he’d try and hide a load of coke under the dodgiest wig you’ve ever seen.
The story hails from Barcelona where a Colombian man was arrested after travelling from Bogota with £27,000 worth of cocaine hidden under his wig. The police clocked him looking nervous after his flight had landed and they pulled him into a room for a full body search. It was then they discovered that he had drugs taped to his forehead under a dodgy toupee and hat. Here’s what police had to say:
