Instagram models are now travelling to Chernobyl to take semi-nude selfies
With HBO’s new show ‘Chernobyl’ being such a massive hit, it was only a matter of time before the ‘influencers’ jumped on the bandwagon. Apparently a bunch of Instagram models have been flocking to Pripyat in the Ukraine to take selfies at the site of the 1986 nuclear accident.
The nuclear disaster saw thousands of people die after a safety test went wrong but who cares about that when you’re Insta-famous and need clicks. One model who went Chernobyl thought it would be fun to not just get her ass out, but also pose in the same kind of jumpsuit that the Soviets wore. Nice! Not disrespectful at all!
The pics even prompted Chernobyl series creator Craig Mazin, to speak out:
