Study says more people will bang in cars when they can drive themselves

Man, I've been looking at this future stuff all wrong.

You know that thing where you mourn the impending death of 'having a nice drive' in a car that you like and is yours? Well turn that frown upside down, champ! We getting laid!

(And whilst the study doesn't explicitly mention road beers it surely can't be beyond the brightest minds in science to pop a lil' fridge up in our autonomous chill-space either!)

So let's hear some more about our sex/drink-driving future from the lads at the University of Surrey's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management: "Sex is a part of urban tourism and commercialised sex is part of that too, so it is quite likely that autonomous vehicles will lead to prostitution, whether legal or illegal, to take place in moving autonomous vehicles in the future.”

They go on to say this could all be a reality by the 2040s; in cities that have both their self-driving infrastructure and sex-regs in order.

Yeah... it all got a bit Hospitality and Tourism Management-specific there, didn't it?  Just want to bang the missus (and have a beer) on medium-to-long journeys really mate. Why you got to make it about holidays and brasses all the time?

Mostly though, well done them for bringing these developments to our attention.
