World leaders actually laughed out loud at Trump's UN speech
It's always preferable to have people laugh with you and not at you, but when you're Donald Trump, having people laugh at you comes with the territory. But never have I heard such raucous laughter from world leaders as I have during Trump's UN speech on September 25th.
As part of his speech, Donald Trump urged other nations to reject globalism and embrace patriotism. He addresses the United Nations with this little zinger:
In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country
I mean it's a pretty bold statement to make when you consider the fact that Trump is the 45th President of the United States, following in the footsteps of Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and John F Kennedy. Unsurprisingly, the world leaders he was addressing thought his statement was rather hysterical and broke out in raucous laughter. However, Trump seemed a bit surprised by their laughter:
I didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s OK.
When you're literally a laughing stock it might be time to take a long hard look in the mirror. Check out the speech in all it's glory:
