Good news! It looks like Sir Alex Ferguson is on the mend

The former Man Utd boss and all-round football legend suffered a brain haemorrhage in May of this year. At the time there were doubts as to whether he'd pull through, followed by a lengthy spell of no updates whatsoever, so it's great to see that he's over the worst of it.

Here's the video message he recorded for the United Twitter page.

On Saturday 5 May, the football world was rocked by the news that Sir Alex Ferguson had undergone surgery for a brain haemorrhage.

Since then, the most successful manager in English football history has battled in a way only he knows how.
