Some dude compared all the World Cup countries to 'Game of Thrones' characters
A dude with far too much time on his hands has re-imagined this year's World Cup using the characters from Game of Thrones - and it's pretty amazing to be fair.
Abdullah Al-Mamun took to Twitter to share his thoughts and he reckons Germany would be Ned Stark, the Lord of Winterfell, who was killed off way earlier than most of us anticipated. He said "Nobody thought he would die, but his head got chopped off in the first round." Next up was Belgium, who he called Olenna Tyrell who "killed off key players before dying just before the final battle." Pretty fair comparison really.
Brazil would be Joffrey Baratheon. Argentina would be Oberyn Martell and England would be Hodor. Here's why:
Abdullah then goes on to compare the French team to the Night King, who were "an ominous presence that no one really talked about at the beginning" and that gradually became quite scary. He then leaves us with this little gem.
What a rollercoaster ride that was!
