Unfriended: Dark Web trailer reveals fucked up sequel
There's some freaky movies coming out this year, and here's another to add to the top of the list - Unfriended 2: Dark Web.
In the first Unfriended, a group of high schoolers were forced to take responsibility for the role they played in a fellow student committing suicide when someone online started picking them off during a casual group chat.
Unfriended: Dark Web is shot pretty much the same way, with all the chat windows in a POV style, but then why change a winning formula?! All the characters seem like decent people which makes makes it even more troubling when one of them unleashes hell by digging around in the used laptop he just found. Prepare yourself kidnapping, torture, home invasion, webcam hacking, and plenty more horrific shit. Check out the trailer:
The original Unfriended cost less than £1 million to make and ended up grossing £70 million, so it makes sense that the next film follows the same sort of fomula. And what's more, it's out on birthday on July 20th.
