It's been fifteen years since Bad Boys was released and after several years of 'will they, won't they', the boys are finally coming back for a third installment.
The third movie will be titled Bad Boys for Life and sees Will Smith and Martin Lawrence returning as Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery. A synopsis has just been revealed for the film and it sounds pretty bloody good. The synopsis reads:
The film will see Lawrence’s character Marcus Burnett working as a private eye after a falling out with Smith’s Mike Lowery, who is going through a midlife crisis as a bachelor who finally wants to mature, all while dealing with a new a young and cocky partner who is loyal to Lowery but that loyalty is not reciprocated, and finds bond with Burnett when he returns to the fray.
Lowery and Burnett are brought together again when a lean, mean, skilled, Albanian mercenary with a vendetta puts a death order on Lowery and Burnett for the death of his brother. Now the two must work together once again to bring him down.
The movie has a budget of $100 million and will star Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union. Union starred in the second Bad Boys movie and she will be be back as DEA agent Syd Burnett, who is now working as an LAPD detective, who's partner is Nancy McKenna, played by Jessica Alba.
The film is set to start shooting in August this year and will hit cinemas next year. Fuck yeah! Bring it on!
