It's been almost 30 years since Bill and Ted first landed on our screens and it looks like we are finally getting a sequel.
It's been confirmed that Keanu Reeves and and Alex Winter will revive their characters, Ted "Theodore" Logan and Bill S. Preston Esq in a movie titled Bill & Ted Face The Music.
The pair first starred as the time traveling duo in the 1989 comedy, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and 1991's Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. Both movies went on to become cult classics but my personal favourite will always be Bogus Journey. Watching Death play Twister just gets me every time.
Creators of the previous films, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have written an awesome script, while Dean Parisot will direct the movie. Speaking to Rolling Stone Magazine, Keanu and Alex said:
We couldn't be more excited to get the whole band back together again. Chris and Ed wrote an amazing script, and with Dean at the helm we've got a dream team.
I can't believe it's finally happening! I can't wait to see the boys back together! There's no release date as of yet but we'll keep you posted.
