Numancia pay tribute to Andres Iniesta by Tweeting a picture of his chap
The legendary midfielder announced last week that he'd be leaving Barcelona at the end of this season.
He's done and won it all in his 16 years as a first team regular, so it was no surprise to see the football world queueing up to pay tribute to his remarkable achievements.
Numancia, currently doing their thing in the Spanish second tier, famously beat Barca 1-0 back in 2008, a match also notable for being Pep Guardiola's first in charge of the club. Understandable then, that they'd choose an image from that particular game to accompany their kind words.
A stray tackle though? No one wants to see that...
Hemos disfrutado mucho contigo @andresiniesta8

They later apologised for the offending Tweet.

...in a reply to the offending Tweet. What, you expected them to delete it?
Sterling work all round. Though it has to be said, not a patch on the undisputed classic of the genre.
Hehe. Well in, Scholesy.
