New book claims Hitler was a proper coke-head during the war
A new book about Adolf Hitler called Blitzed: Drugs in Nazi Germany has come out and it's painted Hitler as a cocaine, methamphetamine and opiate-crazed drug addict. Who'd have thunk?!
Author Norman Ohler, revealed that at the later stages of Hitler's life, his 'veins were so wrecked' his doctor could hardly penetrate them. When the doctor did finally manage to get a vein, it actually made crunching noise. Ewww.
Apparently, Hitler's drug use began in 1941 with steroid and animal hormone injections. But as the Second World War went on, he started taking harder stuff. In 1944, World War II was dragging on a bit and the Nazi forces seemed to be losing momentum. Yet, Hitler was still as optimistic as ever. People wondered if he had some sort of secret weapon, which he kinda did - it was a mix of cocaine and opioids. That oughta do it!
