A new series of 'Alan Partridge' is coming!

If you're a fan of loveable radio DJ, Alan Partridge, be prepared to spaff your pants over the latest news. The BBC and Steve Coogan announced today that filming had begun on a new series for the legendary presenter called This Time With Alan Partridge.

The format will be similar to BBC’s One Show and will see Alan Partridge presenting alongside Jennie Gresham. Here’s what the BBC had to say about the show:

This Time is the perfect shop window for a man of Alan’s gravitas and will – or should – see him finally recognised as one of the heavyweight broadcasters of his era.The agenda very much the sweet spot for a man whose CV boasts over two decades of weekday local radio.With an array of diverse subjects on the agenda, it promises the perfect fit for a man whose broadcasting style has been described as equidistant between chitchat and analysis.

Well that gave me absolutely zero info about the upcoming show. It sounds like it's going to be pretty ridiculous which is exacty what I expect from Alan. There's no date for release just yet but it should definitely be this year!
