'Turbo Kid' director releases 'Summer of '84' trailer & it looks awesome!
After everyone went nuts for the 80's inspired TV show, Stranger Things, the directors of cult classic movie Turbo Kid, thought they'd jump on the 80's bandwagon and create something along the same vibe. Directors François Simard, Anouk Whissell, and Yoann-Karl Whissell have just released the trailer for Summer of '84 and it looks pretty insane.
The plot follows four kids from the suburbs riding around on their bikes and trying to figure out who the serial killer in town is, with their main suspect being a cop who lives next door to them. Check out the first trailer:
This actually looks pretty bloody decent. Turbo Kid was an amazing movie so the directors clearly know what they're doing. I have hight hopes for this film. Summer of '84 is due for release at the end of January 2018.
