Cristiano Ronaldo named best player in the world again
It's not the Ballon D'Or any more, FIFA broke away from France Football to created their very own awards ceremony titled #TheBest. Their hashtag, not mine.
Anyway, after a year in which his Real Madrid side won La Liga, retained the Champions League and he personally scored all the goals once more, the Portuguese forward has been named the world's best player for the fifth time. Yep, he's caught up with Messi.
Congratulations, #CristianoRonaldo! 🙌

All about Real, then, save for the goal of the year award which was won by Olivier Giroud for that ridiculous scorpion kick he scored for Arsenal.
Félicitations, 🇫🇷 @_OlivierGiroud_! 🦂💥
