Police officers bodycam captures him planting drugs in suspects front garden
A corrupt copper in Baltimore has been suspended from the force after his bodycam captured him planting drugs at the scene of an arrest. Err, why was he only suspended and not FIRED?!
The video was released by Maryland’s Office of the Public Defender and shows the officer putting a bag of white pills in a can while two other dodgy officers looked on and did nothing. The copper then walks around and “turns on” his camera (that he didn't realise was already on) and says that he's going to look around, and as if by magic, the drugs show up. What a cheeky bastard! Apparantly the bodycam captured the planting because the type of cameras used by the Baltimore PD actually start recodring about a minute before they're switch on. I'm glad the bent copper was caught out and the charges against the suspect were dropped but it's still pretty awful. There must be countless other cases of dodgy officers planting "evidence". It's just another example of how corrupt the American police force is.
