Marvel's 'The Defenders' will blend the heroes fighting styles

Superhero fans are about to cream their pants as it looks like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones will unite in Marvel's Netflix crossover series, The Defenders, this August.

The vigilante supheroes will team up to defend their city against a new threat who will be played by Sigourney Weaver. The show will blend together the best bits of each individual series and co-showrunner Marco Ramirez has promised to really amp up the fight scenes. When asked about the fight choreography, Ramirez said:

Luke Cage is the guy who will cover a child and use his body defensively. As for Daredevil, the vigilante simply hopes every punch he throws will be the last.

Of course, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen isn’t the only hero who just wants the fight to be done with. Jessica Jones is another member of the Defenders who isn’t keen to drag out a brawl. The heroine takes no joy in fighting. That, as an attitude, is so much fun to watch once she’s fighting.
When it comes to the Immortal Iron Fist, the martial artist tends to get a bit unruly. Danny Rand is kind of hot-headed, a little more naïve than the others. He's very eager and gets himself into fights and bites off more than he can chew, a lot.

It's all sounding pretty epic to me. I'll definitely be giving this a watch. The Defenders premieres on Netflix on August 18, 2017.
